Julie Grigio (Warm Bodies) Cosplay make-up test
I’m whiter than Julie so tried some darker foundation to make myself more tan. Though it looks great in pics, I look orange as hell in the mirror so I’m gonna have to try a different technique. Scratch that my lighting was just weird (plus I had to adjust to the fact that I look darker) and I look fine now.

I get mine from Epic Cosplay most of the time.
Their wigs are super soft, easy to care for and style, and run around $30-$50 depending on length. I consider that a pretty good deal for the quality.

oh man I am a terrible cosplayer if the roleplay is a major part of it
i almost never stay in character, mostly cause i use cosplay as a platform for making friends. i mean, how am i supposed to get to know people if im being someone else?
i guess i’ll rp if someone really wants me to or like we’re doin a group rp, but yeah…
and in answer to the second question, it is incredibly difficult to not break out of character. if i am trying though, then i try really hard. go big or go home!

For the dress, I found it on ebay and I don’t really have any more info for you than just search “yellow dress” and see what you get.
As for the shirt, on the other hand, I may be a bit more helpful as my hunt for the perfect stripes was also painstakingly long and hopeless. Mine is a sweater from Aeropostale and, though they do not carry it on their own site, if you search ebay for “aeropostale green blue sweater” there are several listings in multiple sizes of the same one I have.

After I used my Christmas giftcards, I only have two things left to buy to complete my Candlehead cosplay! :D
Of course, there’s still stuff to paint and kludge together once the pieces show up in the mail, but I am pleasantly surprised how close I am now to being done!
